Prodigals - Jesus Army Life, Day 203

Don't you cry anymore, anymore, anymore
'Cos Daddy's gonna come and take your tears away...

(Just a song I was singing to the family's 40 week old baby this morning.)

Last night was great. Following the baptism (in very cold water), we had a dozen teenagers at our Saturday evening meeting, including the return of prodigals, and there was some good Spirit life too. Smashed through our "more than 24" target for Saturday night meetings, and there was a good mixing together among the people groups too (well, better, we still have a lot of work to do on that score).

God do more among us and build us into a family.

Wow a VERY brave prayer that one Tschaka. We decided that in life it is the custard pies in the face and the deep despairs that knit us into a family. The joys and laughter are just the icing on the cake. So prepare for the fair ground ride of a life time!! You and Teejay are so beautifully wise in your Blogs, but I see the JA forum fights on regardless!! Ha ha !!! Armour on then Tsk, the ride started when the prayer hit the decks. Go for it, love Kay

As the Daddy in question, I'm touched. But I'm also slightly ashamed that you know my son's age in weeks whereas I'd have to stop and scratch my head about it if anyone asked!
